Professional: The email encoder is a way of generating your email address using Javascript so that putting it on your web pages will not attract spambots. A further Javascript exercise was to translate the time to words from numbers. The Dataset Display Facility is a time-saving tool used in the IBM S/390 MVS ISPF world
Cycling: I attempted the End to End in 2003. Ciclos Uno is a racing bike shop in Hainault, Essex, England; they supply all my bikes. I don't actually maintain their site any more -- it's much better now! You can work out your gears and make other cycling-related calculations here.
